HwangRyongSa
is located on the east side of
 [ShaByol] City.
It was built over a long period of 93 years, through
four kings, from 553 A.D.(in the 14th year of King JinHeung)
to 645 A .D.(in the 14th year of Queen SeonDeok).
HwangRyongSa,
which has the meaing of 'Yellow Dragon Temple', was regarded
as the symbol of protection for Silla Dynasty againt evil.
